I HAVE A DREAM...
Renata Santa Helena is an animator, concept artist and creator of Soul Layers. Currently based in Gramado, RS, Brazil. This young artist has dreamed of fantasy worlds and characters full of depth and personality since she was a child. Inspired by great artists and their masters, she dedicated herself to this wonderful art form of animation and concept art as tools to communicate this magical and mysterious universe that is Winds of Gold.
Renata studied for 3 years of classical arts such as charcoal painting and dry pastel painting. She then dedicated herself entirely to animation and concept art, in addition to dabbling a little in scriptwriting and storyboarding, but animation has always been closer to her heart, thanks to great classics that kept this flame alive, for telling stories and bringing her imagination to life.
Since she was a child, this young woman has loved stories told from the point of view of unique beings, beings whose soul and culture are different from what we know as human beings. After all, all beings deserve affection and respect, regardless of how different they are from us. To give prominence to those who have no voice, those whose spirit and customs are beyond our understanding. The most important thing is that some things never change, such as the sense of ethics and love that we all share as individuals, no matter the distance between worlds that may arise. After all, we all share a soul, each with its own mysteries and potential to be explored or discovered.
This website aims to preserve and present this project that has been in development throughout the life of this passionate storyteller. Everything you see here is the result of a lot of hard work and dedication to make it as clear as possible what this project and the characters involved are about. The "Animations", "ConceptsArts" and especially "About Soul Layers" tabs not only present these curious beings in life and in color, but also communicate the important premise of Soul Layers: a world full of adventures and mysteries that await to be unraveled by brave travelers thirsty for adventure and knowledge.
This artist's dream is to spend her entire life creating content for this project and to continue sharing her stories and characters with the world and, who knows, maybe turn it into an animated series in the future! Renata Santa Helena é animadora, concept artist e criadora de Soul Layers. Atualmente situada em Gramado, RS, Brasil. A jovem artista desde pequena sonhou com mundos fantásticos e personagens cheios de profundidade e personalidade. Inspirada por grandes artistas e pelos seus mestres, ela se dedicou a essa arte maravilhosa que é a animação e o concept art como ferramentas para comunicar esse universo mágico e cheio de mistérios, que é Winds of Gold.
Renata estudou 3 anos de artes clássicas como pintura a carvão e pintura a pastel seco. Depois se dedicou inteiramente a animação e concept art, além de se aventurar um pouco em roteiro e Storyboard, mas a animação sempre esteve mais em seu coração, graças a grandes clássicos que mantiveram viva essa chama, por contar histórias e dar vida a sua imaginação.
A jovem, desde criança, adorou histórias contadas no ponto de vista de seres únicos, seres cujo alma e a cultura se distinguem daquilo que se conhece como seres humanos. Afinal, todos os seres merecem carinho e respeito, independentemente de serem diferentes de nós. Dar o protagonismo aqueles que não têm voz, aqueles cujo espírito e os costumes são fora da nossa compreensão. O mais importante é que algumas coisas nunca mudam, como o senso de ética e amor que todos nós compartilhamos como indivíduos, não importando a distância entre mundos que se apresenta, afinal todos nós compartilhamos uma alma, cada uma com seus mistérios e potenciais a serem explorados ou descobertos.
Este site tem como objetivo preservar e apresentar este projeto que esteve em desenvolvimento durante toda a vida dessa apaixonada contadora de histórias. Tudo que você vê aqui é fruto de muito trabalho duro e dedicação para deixar o mais claro possível do que se trata este projeto e os personagens envolvidos.
